The “you” who you think you are is not the real you.  Know yourself.  Self-realization is the goal.  You are not a human who will live and die.  You are an immortal soul temporarily incarnated into the material world for the purposes of growth and development.  Amnesia has afflicted you.  Salvation comes through remembrance of your true identity, remembrance of your true self.
