The Holy Trinity

Many things can be associated with each other in groups of three related items and considered Trinities.  These are some of the most important.

1. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit

The Father refers to the top most level Godhead, the highest level of consciousness which contains all of creation within itself.  This preexisting God Consciousness, keeping part of itself in wholeness, took another part of itself and divided it into an extensive hierarchy of subconsciousnesses which guide the operation of the universe on different scales of organization… universal or cosmic consciousness, galactic consciousnesses, stellar or solar system consciousnesses, planetary consciousnesses as well as individual consciousnesses or the consciousness of multicellular organisms.  This Hierarchy of Consciousness continues down through organs, cells, molecules, atoms and subatomic levels of functioning and organization.

The Son refers specifically and literally to the consciousness of the Sun, the organizing and life giving principle of our solar system.

The Holy Spirit refers to a conscious, living, intelligent spirit energy which permeates the universe and influences the spiritual development of individual souls.  It is the principle of love made manifest.  In Christianity it is symbolized by a dove.  In the Atlantean Secrets book series it is symbolized by the White Eagle.

2. Body, Soul and Spirit

There are three major components to every human being, the physical body, the soul and the immortal spirit.

The physical Body is obvious and everyone is aware of it.  The Soul and Spirit are subtle and difficult to perceive.  Most people are not aware of their soul and spirit aspects.

The Soul is an energy body or energy field that is created and used by the spirit to act in both the physical and energetic worlds.  The soul is the same thing as the Astral Body.  Souls can learn to become consciously aware of chi energy in the environment and gather it and refine it for their use.  Through Chi energy cultivation the soul can become stronger and purified of negative emotional and negative intentional content.

The Spirit is a self contained coherent pattern of energy that constitutes the real “I,” The True Self.  Individual spirits are created by God and contain all aspects and qualities of God but in different quantities, ratios and proportions.  Each spirit is unique and can be considered one of infinitely many possible permutations of an infinite consciousness trying to explore its own true nature.

3. God, Cosmos, Man

This is a Hermetic trinity from Alexandrian Egypt.  This is again referring to a hierarchy of consciousness.  God refers to the topmost level godhead, the highest level of consciousness which contains all of creation within itself.  Cosmos refers to the Cosmic Mind which governs the organization and operation of creation at the universal level.  Man refers to the individual mind, the mind of each individual human being (man or woman) which is fundamentally similar to the Cosmic Mind and the God Mind.  Humans can learn to connect their small minds to the big mind of God.  Doing so we become aware of our own divinity and our own immortality.

4. High Self, Middle Self, Low Self

This is the trinity of the ancient Hawaiian Huna religion.  These are the Three Selves which make up every human being.  Huna is thought by some to be the ancient religion of Hawaii.   In truth it might actually be a modern hybrid religion combining ancient Hawaiian beliefs with European esoteric philosophy from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s.  This trinity has a direct correlation to modern psychology.  The Middle Self corresponds to the Conscious Mind.  The High Self corresponds to the Superconscious Mind.  The Low Self corresponds to the Subconscious Mind.  The conscious mind resides in the brain.  The superconscious mind resides in the upper chakras a few inches above the head.  The subconscious mind is distributed throughout the body but often concentrates in the belly region.  This includes the sub-navel chakra and the solar plexus chakra.  Physically this would be from about 2 inches below the belly button up to the bottom tip of the xiphoid process.

Humans function badly because their three selves are not communicating well with each other.  When good communication is established among the three selves a harmony results which allows the human to function in an enhanced manner.

The Human (the microcosm) is made in the likeness of God (the macrocosm) in that we are beings of consciousness which have kept part of ourselves in wholeness, the higher self, while another part of ourselves has been divided into a hierarchy of subconsciousnesses, the middle self and the lower self, which guide the operation of our bodies in the material realm.

5. Lower Dantien, Middle Dantien. Upper Dantien

According to Taoists there are three primary energy storage centers within the human body.  The lower dantien corresponds to the subnavel chakra.  The middle dantien corresponds to the heart chakra.  The upper dantien corresponds to the third eye chakra.  These are the storage vessels of The Three Treasures: Jing, Chi and Shen.  Jing, Chi and Shen are three forms of subtle energy.  The more purified and refined the energy the higher up in the body it resides.  The Chinese term “shen” is often translated into English as “spirit” and refers to the highly purified energy of the throat, the third eye, the crown chakra and the chakras above the head.
